Audio trimmer free, in your browser
Keep the part you need. Set a start and end time, listen to that selection, then save a WAV or MP3. Your recording stays on your device.
Processing runs on your device. Up to 200 MB and 60 minutes. Format support depends on your browser.
Cut the range, then listen
Enter the start and end in seconds. For example, 30.5 to 42 keeps an 11.5-second selection. Play selection checks that range before saving. Small fades can soften a click where a cut starts or stops away from zero; they cannot rescue a cut through a word.
The trimmer keeps one continuous range. It does not remove every pause, join several clips, or preserve an MP3 bitstream without decoding. WAV output is 16-bit PCM. MP3 output is a new 192 kbps encode and can add encoder padding, so choose WAV when sample-accurate clip duration matters.
For a finished episode, make your edits before the last loudness check. Removing a loud introduction or a long quiet passage can change the overall reading. Keep the original and check both ends of the saved clip before using it.
Questions
Can I cut MP3 without losing quality?
This tool decodes the source. Saving another MP3 is a lossy re-encode; saving WAV avoids another lossy encode. A specialized lossless MP3 cutter is needed to copy compressed frames directly.
Can I trim the sound from a video?
If your browser can decode its audio track, yes. The download contains audio only, with no video.
What do the fades do?
They apply a 5 ms fade at each end of the saved selection. The preview plays the unfaded selection. Very short selections use shorter fades so they do not overlap.
Does it replace the original?
No. It downloads a separate file with trimmed in its name. The original on your device is unchanged.
