fix.fm is audio repair that explains itself. Drop in a recording and it tells you what's wrong in plain words, before it fixes anything.
Why it explains itself
Most cleanup tools give you one big button. When the result sounds off, you can't tell why. fix.fm listens first and names the problem, like "It sounds like a big, empty room." Then it fixes that problem, and you hear the before and after so you can decide. How we test shows the recordings each check is proven on and the cases it does not solve.
Nothing is uploaded
Everything runs in your browser. Your file stays on your computer, so there's no upload to wait for and nothing for us to store. The privacy policy spells out the little we do measure.

fix.fm is made by the team behind tonal.fm, a suite of free general audio tools. fix.fm and those browser tools are free, with no sign-up.
We also make Patch, a paid audio router for Mac with a free trial and a $39 one-time price. It combines live microphone and app audio for calls or recording. The free tools work without buying Patch.
