fix.fm is a free website that finds and fixes common problems in recorded audio. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

There's no sign-up, and you don't need to give us any personal details to use it.

Your recordings stay yours. Files are processed in your browser and never sent to us, so we get no rights to them and no copy of them. See the privacy policy for details.

You are responsible for having the right to edit and share what you fix. That includes getting permission from people you recorded where the law requires it.

Fixes are automatic. They usually help, but they can miss a problem, find one that isn't there, or change the sound in a way you don't like. That's why every fix plays before and after.

• Always keep your original file. We never have a copy, so we can't get it back for you.
• Listen to the fixed file before you publish or deliver it.

Please don't:

• use fix.fm to break the law or anyone else's rights
• try to disrupt, overload or break into the site
• copy the site and pass it off as your own

Parts of fix.fm are built on open-source software. Those parts are covered by their own licenses.

fix.fm is free and provided as it is, without promises of any kind. We don't guarantee it will always be available, free of errors, or right for your purpose. We may change or stop any part of it at any time.

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss that comes from using fix.fm, including lost or damaged recordings, lost income or missed deadlines. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing here limits rights you have that can't be waived by law.

Everything on fix.fm is free today. If we add paid features, they will come with their own terms, shown before you pay.
